Do These Sound Familiar?

Common Problems We Solve In Liberty

If any of these sound familiar, you’re in the right place!

Rural Storms

Liberty relies on utility lines that are exposed to the rural storms that the Triad area of North Carolina is known for. Many homeowners know the experience of micro-resets and flickering lights while they run multiple appliances or when storms come through. A single point-of-use surge protector will not protect your family from surges produced by a lightning strike to the grid. You will need a whole-house surge protector installed by a specialist.

Panel Capacity Limitations

When you own one of Liberty’s acreage lots, you are aware of the legacy 100-amp or 150-amp electrical panels that are persistent in many homes. Once considered high-end, these sized panels are soon becoming obsolete because of the increased electrical demand modern homes are requiring. By completing a panel upgrade, you ensure your home is secured for today and into the future.

Subpanel Failures

For large properties in Liberty, NC, private water wells, workshops, barns, and secondary garages all need power. These accessory buildings are often connected with a subpanel and branch circuits. However, these setups can be susceptible to environmental stress. If you notice the breakers attached to your well pumps are tripping frequently, or there are unpredictable voltage drops to the workshop while you are working, these are all signs you should look at calling a professional electrician. They can perform a circuit isolation test to start on the way to restoring safe power

Mr. Brayan Soto was great with my EMP Shield installation. Technical stuff not shown onYouTube EMP Shield installation instructions, he had to figure it out. Had I used the EMP Shield Instructions it would have been all bad.

Today we had Bryan Soto, and Angel come out and do an evaluation of my mother’s baseboard heater. They arrived early came in and did a very thorough job and did an evaluation and made sure they explained everything about the process and what the company tries to reflect. They were very professional in everything they did. They went above and beyond for us and came back and installed the baseboard heater. Excellent work!!!

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

With many Liberty residents commuting to nearby industrial hubs or surrounding Triad cities, Level 2 EV chargers are becoming standard household additions. Installing a 50-amp or 60-amp EV circuit requires calculating your panel’s continuous thermal capacity. If your 100-amp or 150-amp panel is already running near max load with your HVAC and water heater, our specialists perform a surgical panel heavy-up (expanding service up to 200A or 400A+) to safely charge your vehicle without tripping main breakers.

Liberty’s residential grid relies heavily on long, exposed aerial utility lines that run through rural terrain. Lightning strikes, falling tree limbs, and utility switching events send high-voltage transients racing directly down your service drop. Because basic surge strips offer zero defense at the main line, we install Type 2 Whole-Home Surge Protection directly inside your main breaker box to clamp incoming voltage spikes in nanoseconds and route them safely to ground.

Tapping into an existing home circuit to power an outbuilding will overload your branch lines and cause constant breaker drops. For Liberty homeowners with workshops, barns, or detached garages, the correct approach is installing a dedicated subpanel fed directly from your main electrical panel. We perform a precise load calculation to ensure your tools, lighting, and air compressors operate on clean, independent power.

If grid reliability is a concern, a Generac Standby Generator automatically restores full household power within seconds of a Duke Energy grid drop. If you prefer a portable generator during prolonged rural outages, we install code-compliant manual transfer switches or generator interlock kits with exterior power inlets. This gives you a safe, legal bridge to power your critical circuits, like well pumps and refrigerators, without dangerous backfeeding into the utility grid. (Note: We install standby units and manual interlock hookups, but we do not perform mechanical engine repairs on portable units).

Well pumps draw a heavy “inrush current” the moment the pressure switch engages. If your home has an aging 100-amp panel, undersized service entrance cables, or loose neutral connections, that initial power draw causes a sharp voltage drop across your household circuits. During our $69 Onsite Property Evaluation, we check your panel’s thermal health and terminal connections to determine if you need a circuit rebalance, wire remediation, or a service upgrade.

Homes built between the late 1960s and mid-1970s frequently feature aluminum branch wiring, while older farmhouses may still harbor legacy knob & tube wiring behind drywall. As aluminum wires expand and contract over decades, connection points loosen: creating high-resistance points, burning odors, or warm outlet faceplates. We perform a thorough diagnostic evaluation of your electrical skeleton and execute code-compliant aluminum remediation using specialized connectors to permanently stabilize your circuits without tearing up your walls.

We charge a flat $69 Onsite Property Evaluation for homes in Liberty. Our specialists perform a visual inspection of your electrical panel and system health, discuss your symptoms, and hand you a clear presentation of options before any work begins.
